Dharwad Medical Community to Hold Rally and OPD Shutdown in Response to Doctor’s Murder

Dharwad, EXPRESS News: In response to the tragic rape and murder of a trainee doctor at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata, doctors and representatives from various medical organizations across the country are planning protests tomorrow.

In Dharwad, doctors affiliated with the Indian Medical Association, the Ayush Federation of India, and Shreya College will organize a protest rally on August 17. The rally will proceed from Kalabhavan to the Deputy Commissioner’s office.

As part of their demonstration, all outpatient departments (OPDs) in local hospitals will be closed from 6 a.m. on August 17 until 6 a.m. on August 18.
